We are seeking nominations for the position of AIA International First Vice President, to serve on the board for a term from January 2025 through December 2025 (as First Vice President); from January 2026 through December 2027 (as President); from January 2028 through December 2028 (as Immediate Past President).

AIA SSA looks forward to an impactful 2025 with events like "Architecture Built on Solid Rock – 3x3 Fold," focusing on sustainable and people-centered design.

As the year concludes, the section looks ahead to 2025 with exciting events, promising vibrant dialogue and innovation under the leadership of incoming President Jorge Arditti.
AIA International was a co-sponsor for the "Architecture: A Lasting Impact" conference in Sri Lanka on August 5-6, 2023. The event was organized by the RIBA Members: Sri Lanka, headed by Nela de Zoysa, Hon. FAIA. Nela de Zoysa is AIA International's Country Representative to Sri Lanka and formerly served on the AIA Strategic Council.
I was part of the SE ASIA 2022 Fall Symposium as a representative of Vietnam. My job was to invite an architect with a pioneering spirit and introduce them to the international AIA community. M.A. Hoang Manh was chosen to represent Vietnam in this conference with his lecture “Inside Out – Outside In”.
