ADAPTIVE-ly REUSE-ing: Reimagining Old Buildings for New Uses 

The Fall Conference will focus on adaptive reuse—the art of repurposing historic and underutilized structures to meet contemporary needs. This approach preserves architectural heritage while fostering curiosity, connection, and accessibility within the urban landscape. 

Through expert-led lectures and site visits, participants will explore how adaptive reuse is reshaping Madrid and Segovia, blending history with modern function. IE University's Architecture program and Vertical Campus in Madrid will be key collaborators in this event.

We are thrilled to announce that submissions are now OPEN for the 2025 Design Awards Program. 

Key Dates: 

  • April 30, 2025 : Submission Deadline 

  • May 2025 : Jury Evaluation 

  • June 2025 : Winners Announced
