Global Mentorship Program Update - June 2024

Hi All,

For our June session, we welcomed NCARB to discuss licensure in the US and their global efforts in making licensure more accessible. Thank you to Harry Falconer, Bryan Vallejo and Rishon Seaborn for their thorough presentation and for sharing such valuable information.  Below are some session notes shared by NCARB.

June session recording here- available for viewing for one month for informational fidelity.

Our upcoming July session will feature Danielle Gray from SMPS on July 31 at 8am EST. She will present “How To Accelerate Your Content Development Process With AI Tools”.  This discussion will cover marketing, business development, and the use of AI tools to enhance these areas.

Looking ahead, our November session, developed in collaboration with Karen Schrader, a professor at the University in Northern Switzerland, will focus on “How to Present Yourself” and cover areas such as CV development. We are gathering CVs and application materials anonymously for Karen to review and provide professional feedback during the session, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.

This session will be part of a two-part series. The first part will feature a panel discussion with hiring professionals and project leaders on what they look for in a job candidate, how to approach CV and portfolio preparation, and what to expect from the interview process. The second part will provide a detailed review of writing a CV, cover letter, and goals statement, including tailoring them to a job advertisement.

For feedback on your CV and portfolio documents, send them to me directly for review and discussion. They will be shared anonymously during the session, and feedback will be provided by the speakers. This is a great opportunity to gather first-hand knowledge on how to improve. Send your documents to emergingprofessionals@aiainternational.org

Thank you,
