CES: 1.0 LU/ HSW for AIA Members

Event Description

The events of 2020 served as a brutal wake up call to real-estate owners for how quickly the global economy could be destabilized by environmental and social events. As a result, reporting on ESG performance (Environmental, Social, Governance) has risen to the top of the agenda for most owners as a means to mitigate future risk of disruption. But, what does it mean and how does it affect architects?

The largest part of ESG performance is embedded in the choice of materials and their application. This session will focus on introducing why owners have joined forces to tackle 'the problem with building materials' in APAC and globally.
