The diversity and beauty of nature are stunning. We call the mechanism behind the unintended creativity of nature “BI: Biological Intelligence”. Architectural design, to us, is very much like the creation of life that follows the principles of evolution where it initiates the cycle of sustainable design. The three categories we coined in BI - the “Origin”, the “Form”, and the “Interface”, loosely resembles the condition of living things. Each category contains three modules and all the nine modules contain the elements that we have been familiar with for thousands of years. In this talk, we would like to discuss our approach to design through the “BI” principles where the design flows among the modules and our recent explorations with C.D. ( circularity design).
