AIA Canada: Planning for Best Value Outcomes
Description
Today there is a complexity of factors to be addressed and many stakeholders to be consulted when undertaking projects of any size. Despite the availability of a plethora of project management procedures, some missions have gained a reputation for late delivery, over expenditure and socio-environmental disruption, along with operational issues and long-term maintenance liabilities. The session overviews a 360 degree approach for architects to smoothly planning and enhancing programs and projects, through integrating specialist inputs and expediting outcomes. This is accomplished through a performance planning and cost optimization procedure based on the INSPIRE™ process.
