Renew your Membership for 2025

Dear AIA International Members,

As this year draws to a clause, we would like to say a big THANK YOU for being a member, and encourage you to renew for 2025.

We look forward to bringing you more exciting events, including our virtual Spring Conference in March and the AIA International Conference in the Autumn in Sri Lanka. We will continue our prestigious Design Awards program, and further develop our expansive library of online events. Our Global Mentorship Program will connect even more emerging architects to mentors around the world.

Since 2023, we have been establishing international Sections, to better connect our members to the AIA. The first group, AIA South Korea, AIA Southeast Asia and AIA Taipei, were joined by AIA Latin America and AIA Sub-Saharan Africa in 2024. All the Section teams are working to enrich the member experience in their area. These efforts are supported by a wider, overlapping group of AIA International Country Representatives across 29 countries.

We also have some exciting news for our International Associate members - AIA is introducing dues discounts based on the World Bank Group income classification. This means that if you are an International Associate based outside the high-income countries, you will receive discounts on your National and International dues in 2025. Please look out for a letter from AIA with more information about this initiative to follow. We are also advocating for other membership categories to benefit from similar dues discounts in the future.

With this, we believe that AIA International continues to provide good value to our members at every career stage. However, we recognise that the cost might be a barrier to some members. Therefore, we want to remind you to contact us or your local chapter if you are experiencing financial hardship and want to request dues relief, and we will try to find the best solution for you.

Once again, we hope you renew your membership for 2025, and continue to be part of our vibrant global community!

With warm regards,

Yew Kee Cheong, FAIA, MSIA
AIA International President
