With the resumption of face-to-face events, we are seeing a lot of activity among our Country Representatives.
In Latin America, we have seen multiple events and projects, including:
Competitions for graduating students co-organized by AIA Intl and local entities in Nicaragua (Isolda) and Brazil (Gustavo)
Mexico (Jorge and Arturo) and Colombia (Marco) partneried with the Government of Murcia on the We Are Water events in Spain and Dubai
an Arquiphilia event in Mexico with AIA Intl, with many more partnered events in planning for the second half of the year
Preparations for the AIA International Conference in Mexico in 2023 are in full swing and being coordinated with Mexican architectural institutions
A program in Costa Rica to plant 7,000 trees in the country, with support from the German government
Argentina (Lisandro) is connecting AIA Intl with local universities and institutions
Brazil (Miriam and Gustavo) participated in the Spring Conference, with Mario Biselli presenting his Florianópolis airport project
Brazil also set up a group mission to participate in A’22 in Chicago followed by another trip to Florida with AIA Miami, with support from AsBEA.
