In collaboration with the scientific program of Abdullatif Al Fozan Award for Mosque Architecture (AFAMA) AIA Middle East hosted a lecture by the AFAMA team who gave insight into the mosques that were shortlisted for Abdullatif Al Fozan Award in its third cycle 2017-19.
The team presented an overview of the design of these mosques, their architectural significance, and the relationship between each mosque and its urban fabric. Attendees discussed how these contemporary designs help to define the architecture of future mosques.
