The Singapore Country Representative started off by conducting an online seminar through Zoom on two topics: awareness of wellness through the pandemic and interesting facts about the evolution of the healthcare system in Singapore. Thanks to our speakers Mr Cheong Yew Kee, AIA and Mr Khai Toh, AIA. Interestingly the event which was held on 29 July 2020 was attended by a few members from Europe and US but none from Singapore.
To ensure we provide learning opportunities for our members, we are running a series of online talks and a meet up event every 3 month when the situation is conducive.
Another event, held on 4 September 2020, was a meet up event at Roiz et Vous café. Complying with social distancing requirements, this event was attended by 9 AIA members. Next meet up event is planned for Thanksgiving in November 2020.
