Event Description

From housing and energy to infrastructure and mobility, architects are increasingly challenged to deliver projects that advance the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Join this international panel in a continuing dialogue on issues of resilience, sustainable development, and the UN SDGs. Through case studies, presenters will compare global perspectives on: (1) key challenges to human and urban security on different continents; (2) the role of multinational partnerships between professional organizations in facilitating built environment resilience; and (3) inspired approaches that demonstrate design responses that advance their organization or country’s progress toward achieving the UN SDGs.
