AIA International Region Emerging Professional Lead, NCARB Licensing Advisor
Elaine Wong is an Architectural Designer at Corgan's London office, currently working on airport design. Elaine has worked in architectural offices globally, specifically in the US, Europe, and Asia. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Brandeis University, and her Master of Architecture from the Stuart Weitzman School of Design at the University of Pennsylvania.
Upon graduation, she worked on a wide range of projects which includes healthcare, airports, mixed-used developments, and residential projects. Her experience internationally has exposed her to various architectural practices, diverse project types, and a variety of local building regulations. Her work has been mostly focused on concept design and schematic design, but she is also well-versed in BIM software and has a interest in the relationship between occupancy health and architecture. She received accolades in the Saint Gobain Parklet AIA Design Competition, where she helped design a design-build pavilion looking into the relationship of mental health and architecture, while at Array Architects in Philadelphia, winning 1st runner-up.
Elaine is a member of the Architecture Licensing Advisor Community with NCARB. She is also a Co-Chair of the AIA International Region Emerging Professionals Committee while also leading The AIA UK Emerging Professional Committee.
