Description
The lecture will begin with a general introduction of the role of structure in architectural design today. Through recent example projects, different ways of collaboration between an architect and an engineer will be presented.
Building materials impact environmental sustainability. Natural materials can also encourage social sustainability of buildings. The scale of this impact is not only to the building occupants but also the local community. The lecture will show projected and actual impacts of built projects. Also, new and traditional natural material examples will be introduced through experimental projects.
This lecture will be held both in-person and online. For those joining us at the Manas Trading Showroom, we are preparing light snacks and drinks afterwards.
