This presentation will include a review of AI and how it is affecting all of our lives in our day to day activities. It will then turn to the realm of architecture and explore the good and bad ways AI is interfacing with architects and architecture. AI will undoubtedly be a useful tool in all spheres of architectural design, including the design of healthcare facilities, but is there also a dark side to AI? This course will explore both of these scenarios so architects can be ready to act and not just react to the implementation of AI in the practice of architecture.
