AIA Canada - From Chaos to Clarity: The Single Source of Truth That Makes Data Dance

Event Description

Practices often struggle with fragmented data, limited visibility into asset performance, and higher operational costs. Relying on static models and reactive maintenance, they miss opportunities for proactive interventions that could reduce downtime and extend asset lifecycles. Disconnected data sources, inconsistent formats, and cumbersome workflows impair collaboration, slow change management, and create communication gaps among stakeholders, ultimately delaying decision-making and stifling innovation. Without a centralized, real-time platform, it becomes difficult to integrate technologies like IoT solutions, machine learning, and predictive analytics, leaving organizations at a competitive disadvantage.

In this session, we’ll explore a solution: creating a single source of truth that consolidates all data into a visualized format, empowering teams to make timely, informed decisions. We’ll examine how to assess current data sources, identify gaps, and connect disparate systems into a cohesive data model. By integrating SQL, Revit, and IoT data into Autodesk Tandem, resulting in a data-rich Digital Twin, teams gain critical insights for proactive maintenance, reduced downtime, and better decision-making. Finally, we’ll discuss how leveraging technology for remote asset monitoring and accurate data-capture optimizes performance, improves efficiency, reduces costs, and ensures organizations stay competitive in an ever-changing landscape.
