This talk presents a community-centered design approach towards the birthing of a Performing Art center for Special-Needs Facility in Singapore. As physical and emotional requirements for special-needs are vast and complex, let alone social and economic considerations, it is pertinent that data gathered for the design brief are both quantitative and qualitative and be gathered from all stakeholders in order to create an inclusive facility that honor and respect the disabled as well as stakeholders, among many other considerations.
