Description
The need for buildings to withstand a wide range of environmental challenges has become more pressing than ever, and design for sustainability has emerged as a skill that architects require to protect the health, safety and welfare of the public. AIA Hong Kong’s next ARE review session will therefore focus on the subjects that are embedded in the various ARE divisions, including Project Planning and Design (PPD), Project Development & Documentation (PDD) and Programming & Analysis (PA).
The wide range of subjects pertaining to sustainability includes architectural programming, building design, environmental analysis, land use, site analysis, life safety, building codes, building systems, materials and methods, and contract documentation.
AIA Hong Kong started our ARE review sessions in 2017 with an Emerging Professionals Grant from the AIA College of Fellows, designed to assist young architects in achieving their U.S. licensure via AXP mentoring while working in an international context.
This webinar is limited to AIA members only and members of other AIA chapters are also welcome to join. Participants will receive a multiple choice exercise for practice.
If you are a U.S. licensed architect, please share the news with the ARE candidates in your office.
Registration will close on November 9, 2023, two days before the webinar. Please provide your AIA membership number and assigned chapter for verification.
