AIA Latin America and AIA International are delighted to support the AIA Committee on Design’s first International Conference since 2019, coming to Brazil this Fall!
During this 10-day study tour, participants will have the opportunity to engage in cultural exchange and explore how different regions develop unique, place-based forms of design thinking influenced by their culture and empathy for society. The event will also draw comparisons between Brazil’s approach to design and the experiences at COD’s spring design conference in Northwest Arkansas. Both regions demonstrate varying degrees of private and public sector investment in design that benefits society and shapes architecture and development worldwide.
